We have partnered with the Rodale Institute and have pledged to donate 2 cents of every product sold to their Your 2 Cents program. 

Your 2 Cents is an innovative program that unites producers, consumers, researchers and educators to launch the next generation of organic farmers.

Your two cents will make a big difference. For every gallon of product we sell, two cents will be donated to the Your 2 Cents Fund, which will:

• Award scholarships to students of organic agriculture
• Assist new organic farmers
• Help veterans establish new careers in organic farming
• Support research projects on organic agriculture

DR. ALLEN R. WILLIAMS, Ph.D.

Dr. Allen Williams is an independent consultant and researcher.  He spearheaded the 2011 trial results.  Dr. Williams is President of LMC, LLC, an agriculture industry firm specializing in Farm and Ranch business planning and development, land use planning and management, forage and cropping systems, risk management assessment, field trip research and development, and technical training. Allen and his partners have worked extensively in the crop, forage, livestock, processing, and retail sectors.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association of Family Farms (AFF), Board member for the Pasture Project, and Board member for the Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program.

He holds a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, and an M.S. and B.S. in Animal Science from Clemson University, SC.  He served as an Animal Science Assistant and Associate Professor at Louisiana Tech University for nine years and as an Extension Beef Cattle Specilist/Associate Professor at Mississippi State University for five years.  His academic expertise and responsibilities have included research and business interests centered on farm and ranch financial analysis, development and facilitation of Values Based Food Marketing, livestock reproduction and genetics, forage/grazing management, meat science, and cutting edge ultrasound technology.  Dr. Williams has worked extensively with the USDA FSIS, NRCS, FSA, NCBA, and Grasslands Council.  He also has an extensive pratical farm and ranch background.

Dr. Williams is a member of numerous professional societies and has served on several regional and national Boards of Directors. He has served on national scientific and industry committees, and has been an invited speaker to over 500 regional, national, and international conferences and symposia.  He has published over 50 scientific journal articles and abstracts, as well as over 200 industry publication articles.  Dr. Williams has earned several awards and recognitions including College of Life Sciences Outstanding Researcher Award, College of Life Sciences Outstanding Teacher Award, and LA Tech University Quest for Quality Fellow.

We're MyFarm farmers! MyFarm is a worldwide online experiment in farming and food production, giving 10,000 members of the public a say in the running of a real working farm. The farm is on Wimpole Estate, near Royston in Cambridgeshire. 

MyFarm Farmers join forces on the website to discuss and make decisions on every aspect of the farm: the crops that are grown, the breeds of animal they stock, the new facilities they invest in and the machinery they use.

The aim of the farm is to be profitable, and to maintain the highest standards of sustainability and welfare.
